About the role

Job Description

La Fontana Dementia Nursing Home is nestled on the outskirts of Martock, surrounded by the stunning Somerset countryside.

This innovative, purpose-built home provides specialist Dementia and Nursing care for up to 76 residents.

Activities Coordinator Contract £12.71 per hour Contracted to 36 hours per week Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role Overview As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs.

Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected.

This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
