About the role
Role Overview We are looking to recruit suitably qualified doctors for a range of specialties.
The role involves bank work, ranging from a single shift to extended posts, with evening, weekend and on‑call shifts available.
Bank work is on an 'as and when' basis with no guaranteed hours.

Body: To be appointed to the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust as a GMC approved designated body, doctors must complete at least 12 shifts per month.
Existing agency registrations remain as the designated body and responsible officer.
Responsibilities Liaise between nurses, other clinicians, patients and relatives to support safe care.
Attend and participate in board rounds, ward rounds and other related daily activities.
Provide appropriate workplace supervision to other staff when requested.
Maintain high standards of professionalism, especially in documentation.
Arrive on time for booked shifts and be available from the arranged start time.
Attend local induction when working in new areas.
Comply with Trust policies, including upholding the Trust's values and behaviours.
Perform other duties commensurate with the post/grade as advised by the specialty clinical team.
Qualifications locum consultant grade experience desirable.
Disclosure and Barring Service check required following the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
