We’re looking for an experienced and technically strong Performance Test Lead to join our IT team, supporting the delivery of stable, scalable, and high-performing systems across SAP and non-SAP applications. This is a full-time role with a hybrid working pattern, with the expectation of 2–3 days in Ansty as and when required.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead performance testing strategy & planning
- Develop and maintain performance testing strategies across key applications and projects
- Define performance acceptance criteria, workload models, and test scenarios
- Design & execute performance tests
- Create and execute performance test scripts using NeoLoad
- Conduct load, stress, soak, and scalability testing
- Analyse results & drive improvements
- Analyse testing results to identify bottlenecks and optimisation opportunities
- Produce detailed reports with actionable recommendations
- Recommend application and infrastructure performance improvements
- Support regression testing as part of release cycles
- Lead & mentor teams
- Mentor and develop Performance Test Specialists within the organisation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Digital Delivery and operations teams
What you’ll bring

Experience
- Experience working across SAP, web, and cloud-based systems
- Experience within agile, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery environments
Skills
- Strong understanding of load, stress, endurance, and spike testing
- Ability to interpret application and infrastructure performance metrics
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
