Role: Payroll Executive

Location: Plymouth

Salary: Β£30,000-35,000, dependent on experience.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

The Role

As a Payroll Executive, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes for three group companies, while also contributing to essential financial and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Submitting Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC.
  • Processing pension contributions and maintaining auto-enrolment compliance.
  • Resolving payroll queries with professionalism and discretion.
  • Supporting financial activities, including invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of internal controls and systems.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience in running end-to-end payroll.
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 Payroll or similar software.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Desirable

  • A recognised payroll qualification (e.g. CIPP).
  • Experience managing payroll for multiple entities.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and journal posting.
