The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.
Qualified for 18 months, or slightly more, you will already have a role post Practice which has rounded you and expanded your vision. This role was created after an internal promotion, the P&L analyst role being expanded and split by operating unit rather than cost line. You will be able to easily identify material changes on a month by month basis but your main workload will come at Budget and reforecast time. Mid-month you will identify and act on any underlying reasons for variations to Budget/forecast.
Duties include:
- A team player you will work with your fellow Cost analysts, a small number of other specialists, the Cost Holders and the FC and FD.
- Deliver high quality reports to a deadline, always with commentary.
- Prepare working papers for Annual Budgeting and work with the FC/FD.
- Work with the Cost Holders and ultimately the FD to improve performance.
- Reporting directly to the FC.
- Ad hoc duties.
You will be:
- A qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent).
- Quick to produce faultless analysis.
- Comfortable and professional in all contact with Suppliers as needed.
- Robust, able to work with Cost Holders, addressing over-runs or identifying potential savings.
