The Role
We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager working in South Region and reporting in to our Portsmouth Office.
This role would suit a Junior Project engineer or project engineer looking to take the next steps in to a project management capacity.
- Management of staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects
- Creation and management of appropriate Project Documentation
- Control project expenditure
- Close Liaison and management of the Client and other stakeholders
- Working with a monthly project reporting structure
- Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment
- Effectively manage the O&M outputs of the projects and programme deadlines
Requirements
Essential
- Project experience within Water, Construction or Industrial industries
- APM - Willingness to undertake Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)
- Excellent Client engagement and communication skills
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures
- Experience using planning software such as Microsoft Project
- Full UK driving licence: Driving to Clients Sites will be part of this role.
Desirable
- Appropriate trade qualification
- Previous experience within the Water industry.
