To oversee and manage works across our SEMD Projects in the South East alongside the Site Manager.
This is a permanent job role. Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. You will be paid your travel time door to door, on top of your contracted and overtime hours. Company van provided, with fuel card issued.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising Security, Civil & electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
- Ensuring that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
- Following and actively promoting the STAR dynamic risk assessment and being empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
- Coaching and mentoring Site staff, including Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices.
- Promoting and demonstrating the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
- Promoting positive health and well-being amongst peers.
- Acting in a professional manner and being an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation.
Requirements:
- CSCS/ECS gold card (essential).
- SSSTS / SMSTS (essential).
- Experience as a Site Supervisor, managing and overseeing MEICA or security projects.
- Experience within water / heavy industrial industries.
- Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification.
- Fit to work medical (can be completed upon starting employment).
- Will need to pass BPSS screening.
Desirable:
- PASMA / IPAF.
- Cat & Genny/Service Avoidance Training.
- Confined space.
- EUSR water hygiene.
- Thames water passport.
- Inspection and testing certification.
