- Bridges will be hiring Commissioning Engineers for our projects through AMP8
These roles will be permanent and full-time.
Please note that we may not have capacity to take on additional team members straight away, pending workload increases as we move further into AMP8.

Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
Role Purpose
The Role Purpose - to support the installation teams with; planned and re-active fault diagnoses, basic commissioning, panel modification and technical queries at site level.
Communicating with various departments within the business and liaising with customers.
The role gives varied exposure to different areas of the water industry, offering a challenging environment on a day to day basis.
The Role
Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday.
Paid hourly, with overtime paid.
Overtime during the weekends paid at inflated rate.
You will be paid travel time door to door on top of contracted / overtime hours.
- Company van provided.
- All power tools and testing instruments provided.
- Assist with and carry out all types of Low Voltage electrical work.
- Reasonable understanding of mechanical systems.
- NICEIC Testing.
- Fault finding/diagnostics without drawings and support.
- Panel / Circuit modifications without drawings and support.
- Commissioning of various equipment relevant to the water industry.
- Work with Systems Integrator with commissioning and modifications.
- Navigate HMI/SCADA systems.
- Prepare RAMS, ensuring safe working conditions.
