Children's Residential Support Worker Permanent & Temporary Opportunities Southport & Surrounding Areas £12.70 per hour and above (depending on experience, qualifications and placement)
BRB Recruit are currently recruiting for multiple Children's Residential Support Workers on both a permanent and temporary basis to support a number of well-established children's residential homes across Southport and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for dedicated, compassionate and resilient individuals who are passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people.

The Role
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for children and young people with a range of emotional and behavioural needs.
You will work alongside an experienced team to promote positive outcomes, independence and personal development while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Responsibilities include
- Providing high-quality, child-centred care and support.
- Building positive and professional relationships with children and young people.
- Supporting children with daily routines, education, appointments and activities.
- Promoting independence, confidence and life skills.
- Completing accurate daily records and reports.
- Safeguarding children at all times and following company policies and procedures.
- Working as part of a supportive and professional team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 months' experience working within a Children's Residential Home.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care to children and young people.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, therapeutic care.
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Be committed to working towards or achieving the Level 4 qualification, or already hold it.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible to work a rota including long days, sleep-ins, evenings and weekends.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
