This is a chance for a Senior Building Surveyor to step into an expanding Leeds team with momentum, established clients, and the scope to make a visible impact on how the building surveying service develops across Yorkshire. You will take the lead on substantial project-led instructions across education, healthcare, commercial, industrial and public sector property, while building stronger client relationships and helping junior surveyors progress. The Senior Building Surveyor Role The Senior Building Surveyor will manage projects from early-stage advice through to completion, coordinating the consultancy's in-house design disciplines and acting as a key point of contact for clients. The role is predominantly project focused, with exposure to major public sector programmes, commercial developments, specialist fit-outs, data centres, cladding remediation and technically demanding work on prominent buildings. Alongside delivery, you will help shape the continued growth of the Leeds team by developing repeat business, supporting junior colleagues and maintaining strong technical standards. Duties of the Senior Building Surveyor to include: Lead projects from inception through to completion * Act as Contract Administrator and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams * Manage established client relationships and develop repeat instructions * Deliver technical building surveying advice across varied sectors * Undertake technical reviews and maintain high delivery standards * Support and mentor junior surveyors * Contribute to business development across Yorkshire * Produce clear reports, recommendations and project documentationThe Person? The successful Senior Building Surveyor will be technically capable, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership of projects and client relationships.
