We’ve partnered with an impressive manufacturing business, based in Ireland, in their search for a Sales Operations Manager.

This is brand new role that sits right at the heart of the sales function, leading a team of focussed, creative sales professionals.

If you’re someone who can inspire and influence a busy sales team, someone that understands complex sales processes, and you have a background in manufacturing then this could be a great option for you!

This isn’t your typical sales job.

It’s operational, people‑focused and delivery‑driven.

You’ll be the go‑to person for the team, helping them stay organised, inspired and accountable, working towards shared goals and targets in line with customer requirements.

  • You’ll have a proven record in business development / sales leadership
  • A confident leader who can influence the team
  • You’re comfortable in a fast-moving, dynamic environment

* Tender management experience would be a huge plus!

About the Role

  • You’ll support the Director in the operational management of the sales team
  • Owning the central sales pipeline, qualification, tracking and progression
  • Driving CRM discipline and data accuracy
  • Stay ahead of the market, spot risks, gaps and stalled opportunities
  • Preparing for customer meetings and ensuring follow‑up actions happen
  • Co-ordinating tender inputs, proposals and submissions
  • Helping take new product ideas from concept through to customer pitch
  • Attending occasional trade shows and supporting the team with client visits
  • Acting as the link between external meetings and internal delivery
  • Supporting continuous improvement and structured ways of working
