Bluestones360 are looking to recruit HGV2 Refuse Drivers for our client based in Matlock, Derbyshire.
The role involves:
- Working as a class 2 refuse driver
- Working in a team of 2/3 emptying domestic bins in housing estates
- Working for the local council
- Liaising with the general public
- Customer Service
- Carrying out vehicle checks
- Assisting the loaders with loading the bins onto the back of the lorry
Successful candidates will be required to:
- Have a valid class 2 licence
- Hold a valid CPC card
- Have at least 6 months refuse experience (preferred but not essential)
- Be flexible on work (driving and loading but always paid as a driver)
Please note: You may occasionally be required to assist with loader duties, so you will need to have the flexibility to carry these duties out.
Shifts/hours/pay:
- Monday - Friday 0600 - 1500 (Approx)
- £15.74 per hour
- Time and a half after 8 hours per day
- Time and a half Saturday
- Double time Sunday and Bank Holidays
This is a long-term position with temp to perm roles available for suitable candidates. Full uniform will be issued. Immediate starts available.
