Got People are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver / Refuse Driver to work with our well-established client based in Hemel Hempstead. This role involves driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle (dustcart) and assisting the loader team where required during collections. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for consistent, ongoing work with competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a HGV Class 2 dustcart / refuse collection vehicle
- Completing scheduled waste and recycling collection routes
- Assisting loaders with collections when required
- Ensuring collections are carried out safely and efficiently
- Adhering to transport regulations and health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months recent HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
- Dustcart / refuse vehicle experience preferred (training may be provided)
- Valid UK Driving Licence (Cat C)
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DR or IN endorsements)
- Ability to assist with loading when required
- Reliable, flexible and safety focused
Pay & Benefits
- Monday – Friday: £18.00 – £22.00 per hour (Umbrella)
- Saturday: Weekend uplift available
- Ongoing work
- Immediate start available
- PPE can be provided if required (HI-VIS, Ballistic Trousers, Safety Boots)
