Got People are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver / Refuse Driver to work with our well-established client based in Hemel Hempstead. This role involves driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle (dustcart) and assisting the loader team where required during collections. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for consistent, ongoing work with competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving a HGV Class 2 dustcart / refuse collection vehicle
  • Completing scheduled waste and recycling collection routes
  • Assisting loaders with collections when required
  • Ensuring collections are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Adhering to transport regulations and health & safety procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months recent HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
  • Dustcart / refuse vehicle experience preferred (training may be provided)
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (Cat C)
  • Driver CPC qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (No DR or IN endorsements)
  • Ability to assist with loading when required
  • Reliable, flexible and safety focused

Pay & Benefits

  • Monday – Friday: £18.00 – £22.00 per hour (Umbrella)
  • Saturday: Weekend uplift available
  • Ongoing work
  • Immediate start available
  • PPE can be provided if required (HI-VIS, Ballistic Trousers, Safety Boots)
