Blaymires Recruitment is representing a well-established refurbishment contractor based near Ringwood, Hampshire, who is looking to recruit an Estimator / Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The company has a long-standing reputation for delivering refurbishment, restoration, fit-out, shopfitting and extension projects across the UK.

They work with an impressive portfolio of blue-chip clients across the retail, leisure, education, medical, heritage and office sectors, with project values typically ranging from £200k to £4m.

Due to a steady increase in workload, they are now seeking an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with traditional pricing experience who can manage projects from initial enquiry through to final account.

The role will involve working on fast-paced refurbishment and fit-out projects, so strong organisation, commercial awareness and the ability to visit sites when required will be important.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive contractor with long-term growth plans, offering a stable, varied and rewarding career opportunity.

This position would suit an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or Estimator / Surveyor with experience in refurbishment, fit-out, shopfitting or main contracting.

Tendering and pricing refurbishment and fit-out projects.

Managing costs across multiple clients and projects.

Preparing estimates, measurements, variations and final accounts.

Subcontractor commercial control.

Reporting, forecasting and risk management.

Developing strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Supporting commercial improvement across the supply chain.

Maintaining strong commercial awareness across live projects.

Minimum 5 years experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or Estimator / Surveyor.

Background in refurbishment, fit-out, shopfitting or main contracting.

Good knowledge of JCT forms of contract.

Comfortable managing projects from tender stage through to final account.

5,000 car allowance.
