About the role

Operations Manager required for an automotive small/medium component manufacturer based in Daventry. The ideal candidate will be based locally and have experience in a production environment as well as strong management skills.

Job Overview

  • Manage all manufacturing operations across welding, fabrication, assembly and warehouse functions.
  • Ensure production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and to quality standards.
  • Lead daily production meetings and coordinate activities across departments.
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Manage purchasing and material planning activities.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager role.
  • Automotive experience.
  • Experience within fabrication, engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and supply chain processes.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement training.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £45,000- £55,000
  • Working hours - Monday - Friday 8-4
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
