Skilled structural steel Mig welders required. My client is one of the biggest producers of structural steel throughout Europe, dealing in many sectors including Nuclear, Energy, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Retail.
After securing more work and having a very healthy order book, they now wish to employ more structural steel welders. Heavy plate experience and structural steel welding preferred.
- Flux core welding an advantage
- Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 preferred
- Excellent ability with MIG welding process
- Must be able to put down fillet and multi run fillets
- Have the ability to weld butts to a high standard
- Welds will be subject to NDT
- Work on your own or part of a team
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures
- Wear the appropriate PPE at all times
- Punctual
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Mon to Thursday 7am to 4.45pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all overtime days.
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Company pension.
Schedule: Day shift Monday to Thursday.
MIG welding: 4 years (preferred), Flux core experience.
