Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed by a leading independent property consultancy to recruit a Commercial Property Manager to join its established South Wales and South West team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced property professional to manage a varied portfolio of industrial, office, retail and leisure properties, working with a mixture of commercial and private clients.
Based from the office with hybrid working, you will have a high level of autonomy while being supported by an experienced regional and wider property management team.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day management of a varied commercial property portfolio
- Managing relationships with clients, asset managers, tenants and contractors
- Preparing and managing service charge budgets and reconciliations
- Managing building insurance and planned/reactive maintenance
- Coordinating contractors and working alongside building surveyors
- Ensuring properties comply with relevant health and safety requirements
- Preparing regular client reports
- Supervising site-based staff where appropriate
- Supporting junior team members depending on experience
About You
You will ideally have:
- Previous commercial property management experience
- Experience managing multi-let commercial properties
- Good knowledge of service charges and landlord and tenant matters
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and commercial awareness
- Full UK driving licence
- MRICS would be advantageous but is not essential.
