About the role

Machine Operator - Permanent Role

Elsham, near Brigg

£31,449 + Overtime + Quarterly Bonus

4 on / 4 off shifts (2 days / 2 nights)

We're recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business supplying packaging solutions into the healthcare sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator from a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment who is looking to develop their skills and train as a Lamination Operator. What you'll be doing:

  • Operating production machinery safely and efficiently to meet production and quality targets
  • Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
  • Loading, handling and preparing materials in line with production requirements
  • Accurately completing production reports and relevant documentation
  • Identifying and reporting machine faults or maintenance concerns
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, waste management and health & safety
  • Supporting wider production activities and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working closely with Team Leaders and production colleagues
  • Undertaking full training to develop into a Lamination Operator role

What we're looking for:

  • Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn specialist lamination processes
  • Good understanding of production, quality, and health & safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Reliable, proactive approach with strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00)
  • Own transport due to site location
