Working as part of our established estimating team, this role is to provide estimates for civil engineering projects in the water sector. As part of a successful, experienced, and diverse tendering team, the estimator will work alongside other estimators, bid writers, procurement, and business development officers to collectively develop customer solutions and secure work.

Barhale operates across civil engineering projects that include shafts, tunnelling, pipelines, MEICA, rail civils and groundworks, all of which we have a renowned in-house delivery capability. As part of the wider team, our estimators form a key part of the end-to-end work-winning capability at Barhale. Collate supporting information during the estimating process, including opportunity and risk registers, together with key assumptions registers.

Handover to site teams at contract award.

Estimating and/or operational experience in one or more of the following areas: shafts, tunnelling, pipeline, MEICA, rail civils and groundworks.

Fully conversant with the Microsoft suite of packages.

Numerate and familiar with estimating software.
