Position Overview

To meet production targets by managing production equipment, adhering to H&S requirements, meeting PM compliance, improving and securing line efficiency, fault finding and responsibility for monthly and weekly maintenance tasks.

This role involves shift work, 12‑hour shifts, including days, nights and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Health and safety checks, work in a safe manner following the company guidelines.
  • Completion of daily and monthly PM’s.
  • React to breakdowns.
  • Problem solving and identifying faults.
  • Work within a team, building and sharing knowledge, lead and help the mechanics when needed.
  • Prioritise work to maximise output.
  • Communicate with your Team Leader and provide good and effective hand‑overs.
  • Ensure all quality checks and start‑up sheets are complete.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Engineering qualification.
  • Salary – starting at £53,265.16.
  • Flexibility and team player.
  • Experience in a similar environment (production, manufacturing, FMCG).
  • Able to understand and interpret data.
  • Engineering line work experience.
  • Fabrication and welding skills.
  • Good English and Maths.
  • Lean manufacturing experience would be desirable.
