Electrical Test Engineer (Contract) in Devon, Humber
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to join the Operations team in an established family-owned business in Leeds (LS11). Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of super low loss amorphous transformer technology.
Reporting to the Senior Testing Engineer, key responsibilities will include:
- Testing, repair and troubleshooting across the range of company products both in-house and on site.
- In-house testing of transformers/marshalling enclosures/control panels.
- Testing of LV cabinets and control devices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years testing experience within an electrical engineering company.
- Experience of testing and commissioning transformers is essential.
- Hold electrical qualifications and have knowledge of electrical regulations.
- The ability to understand electrical schematic drawings.
- Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Risk Assessment policies and responsibility.

Working hours:
- Week 1: 7.45 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday (Friday off).
- Week 2: 7.45 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45 am to 3.15 pm on Friday.

Test, repair, and troubleshoot electrical products in-house and on-site.
Your profile
5 years testing experience and knowledge of electrical regulations required.
