Job Title: Intermediate Mechanical Engineer
Location: Eltham
Salary: £50,000
We are looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our successful Consultancy team based in Eltham, South East London with a potential for Project Team Leader responsibilities. The successful candidate should have a progressive outlook to help drive the delivery of our mechanical services, collaborating with our architectural, building and quantity surveying groups to deliver projects throughout their life cycle.
Current Projects include: Blue light, Education and Corporate Buildings.

Job responsibilities
- Assist Senior Engineers with project design and delivery.
- Understand client needs and regulations; design building services and keep clear project records.
- Create designs that meet regulations and company standards.
- Work with other team members on design coordination.
- Prepare specifications, drawings and schedules for mechanical services.
- Get design work checked by Senior Engineers before release.
- Conduct site surveys and assist with testing and commissioning.
- Share knowledge and help train junior colleagues.
- Assist with budget estimates, cost planning and tenders.
- Attend meetings and help prepare minutes if needed.
- Manage and carry out daily project tasks.
- Lead and manage projects and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Ideal candidate
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Chartered or working towards
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
- Experience in a consultancy environment
- Associate Member of CIBSE
- Lived in the UK for minimum of 3 years (due to vetting requirements)
