The role:

As a Human Resources Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the business, providing expert advice on people matters and employee relations. Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Providing Human Resources advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of people matters.
  • Supporting employee relations cases, including absence management, performance management, disciplinary matters and investigations.
  • Interpreting and applying company policies and procedures consistently across the business.
  • Collaborating with Human Resources Business Partners to support business priorities, change initiatives and people projects.
  • Building strong relationships with managers and employees across multiple sites to promote a positive employee experience.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Staverton. Hybrid working patterns are available.

Essential experience of the Human Resources Advisor:

  • Experience providing employee relations advice and employment law guidance.
  • Experience interpreting and implementing corporate policies and procedures.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Proven knowledge of Human Resources practices, including supporting change management activities.
  • Aware of the challenges and opportunities of working within a unionised environment.

Qualifications for the Human Resources Advisor:

  • Level 5 Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification would be preferable. However, we value difference and don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can demonstrate the required level of experience and impact.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
