Job Description

Your work will have a real-world impact. You will explore pioneering concepts through collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams of skilled scientists, engineers, and designers. You’ll see ideas become reality as you create impactful solutions through Awerian’s rapid approach to design, development and implementation. As an Electronics Engineer, you will tackle diverse, real-world challenges from the ground up. Typically, this will involve the whole product life cycle, capturing requirements, design and development, documentation, testing, and delivery. Awerian’s wide variety of intriguing projects, from proof-of-concept through to working prototypes, provide stimulating intellectual and practical challenges.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • You will have a track record of academic excellence, hold a relevant degree, and have proven technical capabilities including the design and development of complex technology solutions.
  • Notable experience is required in several of the following areas:
    • Electronics hardware design and schematic capture (using Altium for example).
    • Experience with low level data protocols (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, Modbus).
    • PCB layout design, including signal integrity and stack-up design.
    • Board bring-up, testing and documentation.
    • Experience in a variety of the below techniques and software:
      • FPGA firmware development, debugging and testing.
      • DSP design and modelling.
      • Signal processing/algorithm design.
      • High-speed electronics design.
      • RF/Microwave electronics design and simulation.
      • Electronics hardware design, schematic capture and testing.
      • Embedded software development, debugging and testing.
      • Experience in C, C#, C++, MATLAB, Python or Simulink.
      • Experience in communications and networking, implementing and/or designing protocols.
      • Experience of collaborating with other engineers on system architecture, interfaces and hardware design/procurement.
