The Role
As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes that meet manufacturer and customer expectations. Working alongside the wider Bodyshop team, you'll ensure every vehicle leaves the workshop to the highest possible standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing repaired vehicles ready for the paint process.
- Mixing and applying paint using modern spray equipment and manufacturer-approved techniques.
- Colour matching to achieve seamless, high-quality finishes.
- Carrying out refinishing work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure all repairs meet required specifications.
- Maintaining paint equipment and keeping your work area clean and organised.
- Working closely with Panel Beaters and MET Technicians to ensure smooth workshop operations.
- Following all health, safety and environmental procedures.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Paint Refinisher who takes pride in delivering outstanding workmanship. To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Vehicle Paint Refinisher.
- Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent colour matching and paint application skills.
- Experience using modern refinishing equipment and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality repairs.
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
