About the role
Astute's Renewable Energy Team is exclusively partnering with a key player in the Solar and BESS market who are looking for a HV Contracts Manager to join the team. This HV Contracts Manager role comes with a salary up to £55,000, incremental supplements for additional qualifications, a company vehicle plus bonus and generous benefits package. The ideal location would be in the South around Oxfordshire but we're open to a more remote option too.

Responsibilities and duties of the HV Contracts Manager roleReporting to the HV Manager you will:
- Manage all key personnel/companies both internally and externally relating to the HV activities
- Plan and execute HV switching, isolations and earthing up to 33kV (this is subject to internal sign off with competence)
- Schedule HV operations in different regions, staying up to date with any contractual obligation
- Assist with understanding and interpreting client requirements within the HV scope of contract
- Ensure that proactive, annual maintenance schedules are created and adhered to
- Assess the existing HV supply chain and ensure its effectiveness, suggesting any improvements/changes with a data-driven approach
- Be able to carry out some HV remedial works when the decision is made to do the works internally
- Provide HV technical support for Field Engineers

Professional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:
- Experience in large scale renewables projects, ideally BESS and/or solar
- Experience switching up to 33kV, 66kV would be great
- At least a NVQ level 3 in electrical installation, higher qualifications hugely desirable

Up to £55,000 basic salary, increases depending on authorisations, company vehicle, bonus up to 12.5%, life insurance, private healthcare, great pension, 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
