The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
• Master’s degree in Education or Leadership (Preferred)
• Valid teaching qualification and school leadership certification (or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Principal, Head of School, or Senior Leadership role
• Experience in international or American-curriculum schools
• Strong understanding of IB, AP, or advanced academic programmes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to lead in a multicultural, multilingual school environment
• Strong track record in school improvement and academic excellence
• Experience in staff development, coaching, and performance management
• Commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusive education

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction across the school
• Lead the implementation of an American Curriculum, with integration of IB or AP standards where relevant
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing school culture
• Oversee curriculum planning, assessment systems, and academic quality assurance
• Lead staff recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management
• Strengthen relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community
• Ensure effective safeguarding, student wellbeing, and operational excellence
• Lead school improvement planning and innovation in education delivery
• Oversee extracurricular programmes and whole-school initiatives
