About the role

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Level 3 / QTS- Oldbury B69Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 3) or Qualified Teacher to work within a specialist SEND school.

This rewarding role will involve planning and delivering lessons, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging, differentiated learning and promote positive outcomes for every pupil.

The successful candidate will have: Level 3 HLTA qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience planning and delivering lessons.

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND, including ASD and PMLD.

Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one at your own cost.

Please note: No training will be provided.

Applicants must have previous SEND experience and be able to confidently undertake the role immediately.
