We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a Personal Assistant to a young adult who has recently graduated from university in Brighton. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult's life.
Start: Immediate start (training to start immediately)
Rota: Every Saturday, some Sundays, and evenings during the week, totalling 20 hours a week. Occasional sleepover nights needed.
Location: University of Sussex (BN1)
Pay: £16 p/h & £190 for overnight stay. Free accommodation whilst on shift.
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.
A Full UK Driving licence is desirable for this position but NOT essential.
About the Job
Our client has Quadraplegic cerebral palsy and autism, so she is looking for a reliable, fun, and understanding individual to assist her with her daily living, supporting her in navigating around the city and regular days out, as well as assisting with her creative writing including helping her to stay motivated and continue her writing projects. This is a great opportunity to do something very different and meaningful in what would hopefully be a long-term position.

Our client is a creative person and enjoys a variety of things including learning new languages, creative writing, and socialising with friends. Our client has recently graduated in Creative Writing and is now looking for someone creative, compassionate, and reliable to join her team of PAs in helping facilitate this next step in our client's journey of seeking independence. Experience with caring for a neurodivergent individual is essential for this role.

Training and Development:
Full training in the client's particular needs will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals without previous care experience. You will also have on-call support from our client coordinator team.
