Working Hours: Monday - Friday 0730-1630
We are currently seeking a fully qualified LGV Driver to operate on a Monday - Friday dayshift schedule out of our Peterhead site. Competitive basic rates are available along with a range of attractive benefits and 6.6 weeks of paid annual leave. Guaranteed 45 hours per week with fully paid breaks to be taken in line with Legislative Requirements of EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive.
Successful applicants will be required to safely and efficiently carry out various LGV disciplines to include flatbed and curtainside duties. The role may require occasional overnight trips and work from other depots.
Holding an LGV Class 1 Licence, you will be fully conversant with all LGV driving regulations and legislation and must ensure compliance with all Company policies, procedures and working practices. You will be adaptable to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
Presenting a positive image of the company through first class service delivery and customer engagement, you will have a proven track record operating within the transportation industry with a demonstrable commitment to working safely and efficiently and be accustomed to completing daily vehicle and trailer checks to identify and report any defects.
Previous transportation experience within the oil and gas sector along with relevant HSE training would be advantageous and a strong geographical knowledge of the Aberdeenshire area is preferred. Due to the nature of the role candidates must hold a Driver CPC licence. Preference will be given to candidates who hold an ADR certificate.
