Qualifications, Experience & Ability

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Education Degree
    • Major, Minor, Master's Degree in English or academic equivalent
    • Secondary endorsement
    • Or deemed qualified by the Teacher Qualifications Chart

Minimum Experience: Minimum Ability predominantly demonstrated through the interview process, the candidate will be assessed on their ability to effectively deal with situations that are likely to arise. External applicants must meet a minimum threshold of 70%.
