About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established and growing electrical contractor delivering commercial projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor, Site Manager or Contracts Engineer who is looking to take the next step into project management. Full support will be provided, making it an ideal move for someone ready to develop their career in a Project Manager position.

The Role

Working closely with the senior management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial electrical projects from initial handover through to completion. The role involves ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple commercial electrical projects.
  • Coordinating labour, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Planning and monitoring project programmes.
  • Managing project costs and variations.
  • Attending client and site meetings.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Carrying out site visits and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Supporting successful project delivery from start to finish.

About You

Our client is looking for someone who has:

  • A background within commercial electrical installations.
  • Previous experience leading electrical teams or managing projects.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach and a desire to progress their career.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • ECS/CSCS card (preferred).
  • A full UK driving licence.
