Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join their small, friendly team in the heart of Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in the travel industry, ideally within the premium or luxury travel/accommodation market, who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
You will be a confident communicator with a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for helping customers. As part of a small team, you will need to be flexible and willing to provide support across the business wherever required.
This position will be a full-time position, working 37.5 hours a week. Your working pattern will be Monday-Friday 9am β 5pm. All working hours are office based.
PLEASE NOTE: from April to October, you should be available to work a Saturday shift every other week from 3pm-7pm (TOIL will be given).
Key Duties
- Responding to customer enquiries by email and telephone
- Amending bookings and managing or responding to special requests
- Proactively handling customer requests and resolving any customer issues that may arise
- Responding to customer reviews and addressing any issues raised
- Providing additional support to the team to include Translating villa descriptions, website content and marketing materials
- Undertaking other reasonable duties as required to support the proper performance of the role
Key Skills and Experience
- Previous experience within the travel industry, preferably within luxury accommodation market
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-starter, motivated with a positive βcan-doβ attitude
- The ability to work independently, proactively resolve issues and manage customer requests effectively.
- Well-organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills with competency in MS Office
- Committed and hard-working with a flexible approach
- Fluency in French and/or Dutch would be highly desirable
