About the role

I am proud to be representing this client who is a busy gastro pub serving fresh food to a high standard. The pub has sister pubs offering a similar concept. This is a group that is on the up and looking to expand. If you are the chosen candidate to take this position you will have the chance to grow with a very successful company.

Responsible for:

  • Stock taking and ordering
  • Cash handling
  • Liaising with the kitchen
  • Providing input into staff rotas
  • Dealing with customers' complaints
  • Meeting and greeting customers and developing a rapport
  • Helping the restaurant and bar to achieve other awards
  • Must have an interest in real ales and showing off your cocktail skills
  • Must be able to explain different drinks to the customers
  • Have a wealth of knowledge on a variety of real ales and developing good relationships with local breweries
  • Recognising locals and VIPs
