About the role
I am proud to be representing this client who is a busy gastro pub serving fresh food to a high standard. The pub has sister pubs offering a similar concept. This is a group that is on the up and looking to expand. If you are the chosen candidate to take this position you will have the chance to grow with a very successful company.
Responsible for:
- Stock taking and ordering
- Cash handling
- Liaising with the kitchen
- Providing input into staff rotas
- Dealing with customers' complaints
- Meeting and greeting customers and developing a rapport
- Helping the restaurant and bar to achieve other awards
- Must have an interest in real ales and showing off your cocktail skills
- Must be able to explain different drinks to the customers
- Have a wealth of knowledge on a variety of real ales and developing good relationships with local breweries
- Recognising locals and VIPs
