As part of our Trading Platform Services team, you'll build and operate the platforms and services that enable efficient, reliable and scalable access to market liquidity.
The Liquidity Services Program Manager will join the G-Research Trading Platform Services Team, helping to track and manage all aspects of the firm’s equity and futures liquidity programme. This includes liquidity intelligence, research on new liquidity opportunities, product and venue expansion and low latency initiatives. You will bring together information across these initiatives to provide transparency and coordination, manage liquidity-related projects and monitor market trends to inform our liquidity strategy. You will also own the agenda, materials and actions for the monthly liquidity forum producing reports for quarterly management and Board meetings.
Externally, you will work closely with brokers, exchanges and other key providers, helping to manage strategic relationships and maintaining a continuous dialogue on current and future offerings to support G-Research’s objectives.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Overseeing liquidity intelligence, ensuring data is accurate, up to date and provides actionable insight for business decisions
- Analysing internal execution against liquidity trends, broker and exchange offerings and venue capabilities
- Managing the liquidity expansion roadmap, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify new liquidity opportunities and execution strategies
- Building relationships with external partners to support G-Research’s strategic liquidity agenda
- Preparing materials and reporting for liquidity forums and governance meetings
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- 3-5+ years' experience in a research, strategy or market structure role focused on global equity or futures markets
- Strong understanding of global equity and futures market structure, including exchange and off-exchange liquidity, other types, execution workflows and low-latency trading
- Experience analysing liquidity, market structure and execution data to develop strategic recommendations and improve execution performance
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience using Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools to build analytical models, automate reporting and generate insights
- Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks affecting liquidity and market structure, including MiFID II, Reg NMS and APAC market regulations
- Entrepreneurial and curious mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify new opportunities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting complex topics and influencing technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience producing high-quality research, strategy papers or market reports
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application to market analysis, reporting and liquidity intelligence
