Our client, a highly regarded food manufacturing business based in Greater Manchester, is seeking an experienced and capable Human Resources Advisor. This full-time, Monday to Friday role is key in supporting core HR functions, maintaining smooth processes, and providing effective guidance across the business.

The position requires solid HR knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice on HR policies and best practice
  • Maintaining accurate HR system data
  • Managing employee records in line with data protection requirements
  • Supporting benefit and payroll administration
  • Contributing to engagement and culture initiatives
  • Assisting managers with investigations, disciplinaries, and welfare meetings
  • Managing absence in conjunction with occupational health
  • Conducting exit interviews while supporting the full offboarding process

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar HR role, preferably as an HR Advisor, with a background in FMCG. Strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are essential, along with a good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice. You must have at least three years HR experience, two years within FMCG, and hold CIPD Level 5.
