About the role

The Novotel Wolverhampton is a modern 132 room hotel in the city centre, just a short walk from Wolverhampton train centre and excellent road links via the M6 and M54. With 8 meeting and function rooms catering for 150. We are a member of the Accor network, whose group brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations. Job Description:

  • Ensure full health and safety compliance, including daily, weekly monthly testing for fire, water safety
  • Daily bedroom maintenance, as well as reported maintenance in public areas, kitchen and the Hotel exterior
  • Preventive maintenance programme to ensure product is maintained to high standard
  • Dealing with contractors and ensure all servicing as per schedules
  • Strong working relationship with HODs, and mainly Head Housekeeper
  • Able to produce reports, strong IT and communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Ideally Level 3 Health and Safety and/or IOSH qualifications
  • Ideally a tradesperson with electrics, plumbing, woodwork etc
  • Excellent DIY skills

You must be eligible and be able to prove your eligibility to work within the UK.
