About the role

Thank you for your interest in the Non-Executive Director (NED) role at Accelerate CIC.

Accelerate is an innovative, dynamic, forward thinking social enterprise whose ambition is to boldly transform chronic wound, lymphoedema and mobility outcomes for as many people as possible.

We engage and motivate people in their personal journey, every step of the way, and can demonstrate having a really positive impact on people’s lives.

Our approaches are informed by many years of experience by an amazing group of people, but also by research in the field undertaken in our Centre of Excellence for the most challenging and complex chronic wound and lymphoedema cases.

Having been successful in East of London, we want to increase our reach and bring benefits to more people nationally.

We are looking for a NED with expertise in digital marketing and commerce, preferably in the healthcare or education sector, to support us to deliver our ambitions and help us to scale up.

We are looking to appoint a NED who shares the values and vision of Accelerate CIC, is supportive of the organisation and what it wants to achieve, assists the organisation to develop new perspectives, willing to give access to their expertise and wisdom, and able to critique and challenge in a way that helps Accelerate grow.
