  • Child Protection and Safeguarding training.
  • Significant post-qualification experience within General Paediatrics, Community Child Health, CAMHS, or Specialist Children's Services.
  • Demonstrable experience assessing, diagnosing, and managing children and young people with Autism, ADHD, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD/Dyspraxia), learning disabilities, and developmental delay.
  • Strong understanding of Scottish child health legislation, national guidance, and the Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) framework.
  • Excellent diagnostic, clinical reasoning, and risk assessment skills.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or additional specialist training in neurodevelopment, child development, clinical education, or related fields.
  • Experience working within independent healthcare or private clinical practice settings.
  • Experience using electronic health record systems and digital clinical documentation platforms.
  • Involvement in research, service development, quality improvement, or clinical teaching activities.
  • Experience delivering training, consultation, and supervision to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and child-centred approach to clinical practice.
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for neurodivergent children, young people, and their families.
  • Strong leadership skills and a commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional development.
  • Dedicated to promoting inclusion, diversity, and the rights of children and young people.
