Our Bedford-based client is seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient movement of goods in a busy warehouse environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating counterbalance forklift to load and unload goods.
- Moving stock safely around the warehouse and storage areas.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required.
- Performing daily checks and maintenance of the forklift.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring a clean working environment.
- Valid forklift licence from nationally accredited trainer.
- Proven experience as a forklift driver.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating day and night.
- Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic.
