A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONFERENCE & EVENTS MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL
What you’ll be doing

  • Take full ownership of event delivery, ensuring all logistics and on-the-day operations run smoothly and align with client expectations.
  • Oversee room setups, AV requirements, and staff coordination to create a seamless guest experience.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the events team to deliver exceptional service with a “Yes is the answer, what’s the question” mindset.

  • Act as the main point of contact for the team during events, ensuring swift resolution of any issues.
  • Act as the face of Wotton House on event days, ensuring every client feels valued and supported.
  • Build strong relationships with clients on-site, ensuring their vision is flawlessly executed.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, coordinators, and other departments to ensure events transition smoothly from planning to execution.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to maintain the highest service standards.
  • Anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and ensure every detail is meticulously managed for a flawless guest experience.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team and maintain composure under pressure.
