Job Title: Wind Turbine Technician Location: East Kilbride with some travel in Scotland (all expenses paid) Salary: £28,000 to £37,000 (doe) Hours: Permanent, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) Mac Recruit Group are delighted to represent our client, an East Kilbride based Wind Turbine specialist who undertake work all over the UK. Their full service for clients includes blade repair, installation of wind turbines, blade inspection and much more. Wind Turbine Technicians are required to join the team on a full time and permanent basis, based in East Kilbride but some travel throughout the UK will be required. Wind Turbine Technician duties: * Preparation works for Service campaigns * Perform scheduled maintenance, fault rectification and major component exchanges on customers fleet of turbines daily * WTSR responsibility for individual sites within Operations Support Remit * Work with customer Work Order systems * Service and corrective tooling upkeep * Completion of service documentation * Completion of Customer site specific documentation where required * Technical reporting for internal systems * Proactive availability, improvement, and sustainability * O&M parts management and forecasting * On Call support * Supporting Onsite O&M Teams as needed Wind Turbine Technician requirements: * WTSR approved Authorised Technician on V47/G52 technologies * Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer, aviation engineer) OR Professional training in Mechanical engineering sector Wind Turbine Technician salary & benefits: * £28,000 to £37,000 (doe) * Private healthcare * Cycle2Work scheme * Pension scheme * Overtime * Competitive industry training programme
