Joining a small accountancy firm looking to grow its HR team of 5 with an early careers focused professional. Your new role This role will largely be focused on the learning and development of the trainees, graduates and interns in the company, monitoring their CPD compliance and journey to becoming qualified. There will also be aspects of talent acquisition, assisting with two recruitment cycles each year. L&D: – Coordinating internal training with external coaches through liaising with training providers – Maintaining software systems (internal resource management, training calendar, intranet) to make sure they are up to date with the correct information – Monitoring CPD compliance – trainees and qualified staff, ensuring training is completed by deadlines – Maintaining training records for both trainees and qualified professionals – Monitoring exams and results, partnering with line managers to advise on team members development – Being a point of contact for 85 trainees across the business, escalating any assessment or performance issues to Senior Advisor – Manage internal training programmes, conducting initial research for new content, providing support and feedback to the HR team – Supporting on Ad-Hoc projects when necessary Recruitment: – Assisting during the bi-annual cycles of early careers recruitment – Supporting with the screening of CVs and applications – Managing the coordination of interviews throughout the recruitment process This role will require 4 days a week in the office, with 1 working from home.
