Part time Accounts Administrator Location: Preston – office based Salary: £28k – £32k pro rata (subject to experience) + Benefits FLEXIBLE ON WORK DAYS AND HOURS Our client is a UK market leader in Print Management Services providing a vast range of services that are integrated to provide the most cost efficient and effective marketing support functions in print management. Tailoring service and delivery to clients needs they provide a bespoke service with some of the most experienced personnel in the industry. Our client is now seeking to appoint a Senior Accounts Administrator. Reporting to the Group Accountant, youll be part of a small site finance team and will contribute to maintaining an efficient, organised and accurate finance function for the business. Does this sound like you? This role involves a lot of transactional postings, so youll have plenty of experience of this and know its something that you enjoy. Whilst an accounts qualification is not a requirement for this role, you will be able to offer them solid experience gained within a busy accounts administration role where you have been heavily involved with both purchase ledger and sales ledger. You display a professional demeanour and are happy to, and capable of, stepping up when required e.g. when helping to cover the work of other / more senior team members when they are on holiday. You are: Willing and able to learn, and work to a high standard. Highly numerate, pays attention to detail and can communicate effectively. Reliable, and a great team player who demonstrates a flexible approach to work. Work Hours: This is an office-based role and they are willing to offer flexibility on work days and hours. Their preference would be for the new post holder to work 25 hours over 5 days (Monday Friday) between the hours of 9am 5pm. If you cant commit to 25 hours a week and / or a 5 days a week then dont let that put you off, as they can consider a bit less. If you are successful in securing an interview, theyll ask you about your work days / hours preference at that point. What they are offering: Benefits include: A basic salary of £28k – £32k pro rata (subject to experience). 27 days of holiday each year plus bank holidays (pro rata). Pension and life assurance. Free onsite parking (youll be based at their office located in Preston, PR2).
