Your new company A specialist manufacturing firm based in Preston is now searching for an experienced Office Manager to join their rapidly business. The team currently stands at a head count of 45, but this is looking to expand. This is a great opportunity to join an established business as its growth continues to gather momentum in a leadership role. The working hours for this role are 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday office, with a one hour’s lunch.Your new role As the Office Manager, your duties will include building strong peer relationships with colleagues and aiming to grow and develop the business further. Daily duties may include, identifying training needs and support, including various admin tasks and supporting with HR and accounts when required. Along with sending enquiries, health & safety checks, ensuring all files are accurate, support with bids, taking phone calls and processing orders. Additional diary management, booking meetings, arranging appointments and organising travel arrangements.What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in securing this position, you will need experience in team management, ideally within a similar industry, along with experience of project delivery and operational system development. You must be involved in the daily challenges and understand the challenges and opportunities for your team at a practical level and be able to motivate and lead a team. You should have proven an ability to lead in a fast-changing, fast-paced environment with a level-headed approach when things do not go to plan and have strong attention to detail. Including previous experience of working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills and relationship development. Ideally searching for a candidate who is looking to develop and work as part of a small team, with the view, for recruiting further across the business.What you’ll get in return In return, you will be paid a competitive annual salary up to £32,000 depending on experience, along with 23 days plus 8 bank holidays.
