Five Education is currently seeking passionate and dedicated full-time Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work within a mainstream school in Bath, supporting Key Stage 1&2 (KS1/2) students with additional needs. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with conditions such as Down Syndrome, ADHD, Autism, Learning Difficulties, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and more. Key Responsibilities: – The role will be working 1:1 with a student throughout the week. You will provide tailored support to a student with specific educational needs, within a mainstream classroom setting. – Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. – Provide tailored support during lessons, activities, and potentially break times. – Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. – Support students with communication strategies and interventions to aid their speech and language development. Essential Criteria: – A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs. – The right to work in the UK (we cannot accept sponsorship or skilled worker visas). – Relevant references and DBS/police checks. – Availability to work 5 days a week (Mon – Fri), term time only (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM).
