We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team providing reactive and planned maintenance. This role will require you working within a 3 hour travel time radius of Reading, however National travel will be required in line with business needs.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and control systems in commercial or industrial properties.
- Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and repair of malfunctioning systems or equipment.
- Responding to scheduled jobs and emergency call-outs across client sites.
- Liaise with clients to understand issues and provide effective solutions on-site.
- Identify faults, conduct repairs, and replace components in electrical systems.
- Test and inspect electrical systems and installations for safety and functionality, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs.
- Provide professional, courteous service to all clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Educate customers on proper electrical system maintenance and address any concerns or queries.
About You:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification.
- Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391) preferred but not essential.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician.
- Experience in diagnosing electrical faults, installations, and maintenance in diverse settings.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues.
- Proficiency with electrical tools, equipment, and software for diagnostics and reporting.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- ECS card (preferred).
