EPM Business Development Lead (EMEA)
Codex are partnered with leading EPM Professional Services Firm who are looking for an experienced Business Development Lead (EMEA). This is a critical role focused on driving growth, working closely with sales, customer success, and partners to develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
About the Role
As a key member of the professional services function, you will be responsible for supporting and generating business opportunities across EMEA. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand customer needs, define implementation scopes, estimate resource requirements, and create compelling proposals that drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business and expansion opportunities for professional services across EMEA
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services leaders to support bookings, pipeline growth, and opportunity forecasting
- Lead the development of proposals and statements of work for services delivery
- Oversee contract negotiations with customers and facilitate legal reviews
- Build and manage relationships with strategic partners to optimize service delivery
- Guide the sales cycle to secure professional services bookings and support revenue growth
- Conduct late-stage pipeline development, ensuring alignment across sales, customer success, and delivery teams
- Participate in mid-to-late sales cycle activities to assess technical and business requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in consultative professional services, delivering EPM solutions
- Must have experience with: Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Planful, Pigment, Vena, Prophix, Oracle, Onestream or TM1 Planning Analytics
- Proven track record of developing business independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Experience in selling and positioning complex enterprise services deals
- Strong ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software implementation best practices
- Strong executive presence with experience managing C-level relationships
- Understanding of software lifecycle management, data integration, and best practices in process optimisation
