Job Overview:

As a product manager, you will be the strategic bridge between business objectives, user needs, and technological innovation. Your role is to drive product vision, manage Agile development processes, and identify appropriate technological opportunities that enhance product efficiency and user experience.

You\’ll manage the Product Roadmap by raising clear and concise user stories detailing product features and bug fixes. Working closely with stakeholders, an offshore development team, and other parties (as required), you\’ll hold sprint planning sessions and assist with the documentation and deployment of regular releases.

The role requires you to balance the needs of users, stakeholders, and technical teams. You will also run user clinics and workshops.

1. Product Strategy

– Working with the key business stakeholders, develop and articulate a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with company goals and market requirements

– Conduct ongoing market research (e.g. through clinics / workshops) to identify user needs, pain points, and emerging opportunities

– Create detailed product requirements documents (PRDs) that outline feature specifications and user experience expectations

2. Agile Development Management

– Lead and facilitate Agile development cycles

– Prioritise and manage product roadmap and backlog

– Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics

3. Technological Innovation Integration

– Working with our technical partners, research and propose innovative technological solutions, with a specific focus on:

– Suitable areas of artificial Intelligence (AI) integration strategies

– Advanced external component/tool integrations

– Other emerging technologies that could provide competitive advantages

4. User Experience (UX) Design

– Champion user-centric design principles

– Facilitate usability testing

– Develop user personas and journey maps to guide product development

5. Stakeholder Communication

– Present product strategies, progress, and innovations to business leadership

– Engage with customers to gather feedback and validate or amend product direction

– Create compelling presentations and documentation

6. Competitive Analysis

– Continuously monitor competitor products and market trends

– Identify opportunities for differentiation through technological innovation

Required Skills:

– 3-5 years of product management experience in a SaaS environment

– Strong understanding of Agile methodologies

– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

– Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

– Good technical literacy and a curiosity about emerging technologies

– Ideally experience with AI/ML product integration

– Market driven decision making approach
