Retail Design Manager – LUXE (FTC until 29th June 2025)

As RD manager, I will be the guardian of brand image, ensuring luxury execution for the brands I oversee. I will also champion retailers, serving as the point of contact for operational aspects related to rollout across the division (e.g., Boots).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. MASTER RETAIL DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS
    Express and interpret the brand’s image, values, and sense of purpose.
    Understand and incorporate the specificities of the market.
    Understand the customer path and rules of shopper experience.
    Lead designs effectively, considering the associated technical complexity.
  2. DESIGN CUSTOMER-CENTRIC RETAIL CONCEPTS
    Enhance the brand’s visual identity to create customer-centric retail concepts.
    Create and design visual concepts that align with a consistent customer path, including O+O elements.
    Ensure high-quality standards are met.
  3. DELIVER OPERATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION WITH EXCELLENCE
    Adapt the retail concept based on the distribution channel or customer profile.
    Ensure technical and legal compliance during production.
    Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
    Manage projects efficiently, adhering to timelines and budget, while aligning with the head of RD.
  4. ACT AS A BUSINESS DRIVER
    Negotiate with retailers regarding implementation plans.

I REPORT INTO: HEAD OF RETAIL DESIGN

MY CORE KPIS ARE:

  1. Objective: Align installation timelines with the communicated timelines – Key Result: Achieve 100% adherence to the communicated installation timelines.
  2. Objective: Deliver realistic designs in alignment with the brand codes and market needs – Key Result: Deliver the most relevant POS.
  3. Objective: Ensure effective management of capital expenditures (CAPEX) – Key Result: Maintain a consistent and flat CAPEX management.
  4. Objective: Promote sustainability practices within the organization – Key Result: Achieve a sustainability score of 100% by implementing and maintaining sustainable initiatives.

  2. Guarantee the respect of the brand guidelines.
  3. Guarantee the respect of budgets.
  4. Champion sustainability.

I HAVE IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF:

  1. Proven experience and passion in luxury retail design.
  2. Completed a bachelor’s degree in a design-related field (architecture, interior design, product design, etc.).
  3. Strong knowledge of design tools such as SketchUp and AutoCAD, as well as Microsoft programs.
  4. Detail-oriented and systematic in approach.
  5. Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Experience in a premium retail environment, understanding the customer journey, and demonstrating commercial and marketing fundamentals understanding.
  7. Responsive and communicative.
  8. Effective communication skills.
  9. Enthusiastic and innovative, willing to try out new ideas and processes.
